•  FOR RENT Rio Marina pretty location with a marine flavor in the middle of the east coast of the Island of Elba   In fact, the LOFT FRANCESCA contains completely new furnishings and finishes with recycled materials relating to the sea, which create a bungalow atmosphere on the beach without sacrificing comfort   The apartment is located in the historic center, in a typical alley (Via Garbibaldi) which can be reached directly from the town square or from a staircase which, passing in front of the Monerary Museum, leads directly to the Rio Marina seafront   On the ground floor with an independent entrance, it has undergone a conservative restoration which has enhanced its atmosphere. It consists of a single room equipped with a kitchenette (small fridge without frezzer, microwave oven, two-burner electric hob, sink and washing machine); a sofa bed (130x190) + 1 doublesofabed (160x190), bathroom with shower cubicle, toilet, sink. The LOFT is air-conditioned for hot and cold and is equipped with a TV   Rio Marina is a pretty village with a history linked to the extraction of minerals and fishing and tourism, where you can still breathe the typical atmosphere of the villages inhabited by "seafarers", with small shops, sweets and typical dishes , the restaurants where you can taste the catch of the day cooked with extreme care and sometimes with very old recipes. Possibility of water activities such as boat rental, diving center with PADI certification and sailing school.   The small pebble beach of La Torre is located in the town centre, while nearby is the beautiful bay of Ortano, the beach of Le Fornacelle, the Topinetti, Cala Seregola, the coves of Portocciolo, Gennaro, Luisi d'Angelo to finish with the Cavo up to Porto Azzurro and Capoliveri.   The village is also home to many cultural and sporting events throughout the year, including fairs and festivals. Among the typical dishes of the area there are the cod cooked with the recipe of the typical "Stockfish" as well as the "Sbrurrita", the "Schiaccia Briaca" and the traditional "Sportella di Pasqua".   Rio Marina is also an ideal base for exploring the island of Elba, as it offers a strategic position almost in the center of the island as well as the convenience of being able to disembark directly with the Toremar ferry
